Winners Announced for the Newly Launched Workplace Violence Reduction Awards (WVRAs)

The first ever WVRAs, co-located with The Safety and Security Series, took place at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, joined by headline sponsor Maybo

The winners of the 2025 WVRAs are: 

Outstanding Leadership 
Alex Kuye – Compass Group UK & Ireland – Healthcare 

Outstanding Training Initiative 
Violence & Aggression Reduction Training – Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Teaching NHS Trust 

Outstanding Partnership Initiative
North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust and Compass Group UK & Ireland – Healthcare  

Outstanding De-Escalation Skills 
Yakubu Adetunji – GSTS
